Ingredients:
- 4 (6-oz) tilapia fillets
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the tilapia fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a better sear.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, zest, and chopped parsley until glossy.
- Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season both sides evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over each fillet, ensuring the edges are well-coated.
- Bake in the center rack for 10–12 minutes. Turn the broiler on for the final 2 minutes to caramelize the garlic butter into a golden-brown crust.
- Remove from the oven once the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
